A specialised migration/human rights lawyer, Catherine is the author of several leading publications relating to family and child migration, trafficking and citizenship. In addition to legal practice, she has worked as a legal trainer/consultant and lecturer at the University of Limerick and the Dublin Institute of Technology. In 2010, she was selected as a member of the British Council’s Transatlantic Network, also known as TN2020. Formerly a member of the Advisory Boards of the NCCRI, PILA and European Network on Migrant Worker’s Rights, Catherine is the EUDO Ireland Country Expert on Citizenship and sits on the Advisory Committee of the European Network on Statelessness. She served on the Board of Women’s Aid (2006-2016) and is currently Chairperson of Canal Way Educate Together National School.
