Katharina joined the Immigrant Council in February 2019 as Information & Legal Support Caseworker. She has experience in international and governmental relations, European Union affairs and human rights, and enjoys working in multicultural environments. Before joining the Immigrant Council, she was employed as a Consular Officer with the Austrian Embassy in Berlin and worked as EU Presidency Liaison Officer with the Irish Embassy in Vienna. Previously, Katharina also worked as a research assistant at the UCD School of Law and was a legal intern at Nasc in Cork. She holds a Master of Laws in International Human Rights from UCD and a Master of Laws from the University of Vienna, where she specialised in ‘International Legal Practice and Language’.
